MID-ATLANTIC WATERPROOFING DONATES $45,000 TO USO May 23, 2007 (New York, NY) On May 16, 2007, the executives of Mid-Atlantic Waterproofing visited the USO OF Metropolitan New York to present them with a check from a campaign that was done to support the men and women of our Armed Forces. “We are very pleased to contribute to such a great cause,” said Ed Fennell, one of the principals of the company. “The Armed Forces needs our help as well as many others. What the USO is doing is so fabulous. These men and women who are fighting for our country deserve so much more then they are receiving, that, this is the least we could do. Thank you to all involved.”
Mid-Atlantic Waterproofing is an expert specialty organization that focuses on the fixing and repair of problem foundations, crawlspaces and wet basements. Contributions have also been made by Mid-Atlantic to Catholic Relief Services, The United Way and Red Cross for the devastations caused by the Tsunami and Katrina.

Dear Eric,
On behalf of the USO of Metropolitan New York and the service members of the Armed Forces we serve, thank you so much for organizing such a highly successful fundraising initiative. The outpouring of gratitude from the employees at Mid-Atlantic was evident in your smiles and yesterday’s conversation.
It looked to us like everyone on your team enjoyed the time they spent organizing this fundraising initiative. The USO of Metropolitan New York cannot express how grateful we are for this tremendous contribution. Please thank all of your employees who must have spent countless hours pulling together these donations.
Most of all, we want to thank you and the entire staff at Mid-Atlantic for spearheading this drive and for working to support those who preserve our way of life.
Again, thank you for supporting the men and women of our Armed Forces and for allowing us to be the steward of gratitude – gratitude for men and women who make extremely personal sacrifices to protect the lives and freedoms of people they don’t even know.
Sincerely,
| Brian C. Whiting Executive Director |
