Mid-Atlantic Waterproofing Pledges Donation To GlobalGiving for Hurricane Sandy Relief

Mid-Atlantic Waterproofing has pledged to donate to a cause every year since the attacks on the Twin Towers on September 11th, 2001. This year, the company has chosen to donate to GlobalGiving, an organization which provides relief to disaster victims around the world. Mid-Atlantic Waterproofing has decided to put its funds towards Hurricane Sandy relief.

Hurricane Sandy hit the east coast of the United States in October of 2012. The storm devasted a portion of our territory and rebuilding is far from over. Many people have lost their entire homes to flood damage and winds. The money we contribute to this organization will be used to directly provide relief for those affected by Hurricane Sandy.

Mid-Atlantic Waterproofing Rides To Stop Diabetes

Mid-Atlantic Waterproofing donated $50,000 and had over 50 riders and volunteers  in the American Diabetes Association's (www.diabetes.org) Tour de Cure cycling event on May 5, 2012.  The event was to help raise funds to change the future of diabetes and help stop this devastating disease.

Mid-Atlantic Waterproofing has decided to make this year’s charitable donation to the American Lung Association (ALA). The company has donated $50,000!

Every year more people are diagnosed with lung disease and lung cancer due to tobacco smoke. This includes second hand smoke. Many of our own employees realized that this was the year to quit smoking and Mid-Atlantic Waterproofing wanted to support them in their decision.

The American Lung Association was chosen as this year’s charity of choice so that they can continue to “Fight for Air.” Through their efforts, less people will develop lung disease and we can all live healthier lives.

NEW YORK, July 21, 2010-On June 29, 2010, several representatives of Mid-Atlantic Waterproofing visited the offices of Doctors Without Borders/Médecins San Frontières (MSF)  to present a check in the amount of $41,000(Mid-Atlantic  Waterproofing utilized a three month time period where they  put aside $50 from every contract towards this fabulous cause).  During their visit, they were treated to a tour of the facility where the nuts and bolts of the operation take place.  “I also wanted to take this opportunity to thank your entire group for the wonderful work you do around the world.  You touch so many lives and it was gratifying to be a small part of it with our donation”, said Ed Fennell, President

Over the past years, Mid-Atlantic Waterproofing has partnered with many groups such as Johns Hopkins Hospital, the USO, The United Way, The Red Cross and Catholic Relief Services on whose behalf we have worked to donate to their cause.
