Hurricane season begins on June 1. Are you ready?
2016 is no exception to any other year. With La Nina coming through, that Atlantic hurricane season could be more active than normal. Forecasters are saying that after 3 'slow' years, hurricanes are more likely.
On average, the Atlantic sees approximately 11 tropical storms, 6 hurricanes and two major hurricanes during any given season. Don't expect the rain to let up until November! If our previous years' rain gives us any indication, we should be prepared. That includes your home.
Ensuring that your family and home are safe is important. It is easier to be proactive than reactive, so have your home inspected regularly. Mid-Atlantic Waterproofing can help. We have been in the basement waterproofing and foundation repair business for over 50 years. Our highly trained inspectors can determine how your home is aging and, if necessary, recommend the best course of action for your home.
