The largest privately held specialty home improvement contractor in the Country needs an experienced manager to oversee the installation/production department for our Columbia, MD office. Our ideal candidate has hired, trained and motivated sub-contractors to ensure work is installed to meet company standards. Is adept with computers, customer service, general construction knowledge and has the willingness to learn and get the job done. Understands backlog reports and how to manage them, can schedule jobs by priority to suit company and customer’s needs. Can take responsibility for the AR and educate the crews on how to properly complete their tasks to timely collect final payment from customers. Has the experience managing service techs to handle needed adjustments or warranty issues as they arise for our valuable customers. These are just a few examples of duties that are part of an installation / production manager's daily routine but in no way are they all the job duties. It is a fast-paced job that often requires 50-60 hours a week. Challenging yet rewarding at the same time.
