Is insulation important in a basement?
YES! Every municipality has their own “R” rating, but basement walls must be insulated. Basement ceilings, however, are optional and are usually insulated for noise reduction.
Are “floating walls” really a thing in Colorado Basements?
YES! If your foundation floor “floats”, so should your basement walls. No worries, we handle that during the framing process.
